MAX PG or VG When it Comes to Vaping Menthol-Flavored E-Juices: You Decide!

Naturally, vapers tend to prioritize flavor when choosing
an e-liquid
.
This is especially the case when it comes to menthol flavors. In fact, there are simply a number of
combinations that menthol can go along with, besides just being a standalone
flavor, such as fruit, beverage/drinks, tobacco, mint, and some candy
flavors. So, finding the right menthol-flavored
e-juice to satisfy your cravings can take some time, especially if you’ve got a
serious sweet tooth.

Now, once you’ve settled on a flavor, it’s important
that you take into account the levels of vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene
glycol (PG) that are in your e-liquid.
Those who are new to vaping tend to not realize just how much of a
difference these ingredients make depending on how much of them are in your
vape juice. In fact, your VG/PG ratio
greatly determines many aspects of your overall experience, including the
intensity of your flavor (in this case how brisk it feels), the size of your
clouds, and even the quality of your throat hit.

Should You Go with Max VG or Max PG When Vaping a Menthol-Flavored
E-Liquid?

If you’ve found that fresh menthol vape juice, and
you’re trying to choose between max PG and max VG, we’re here to help.

Max VG

Max Vegetable Glycerin is typically associated with
higher output levels. For instance, if
you’re using a high-wattage device, max VG will make sure that each puff gives
you the thickest, largest vape clouds possible.
A max VG e-liquid is also very compatible with a sub-ohm coil. The reason for this is that high output
levels heat up your e-liquid very quickly and very intensely. VG is thick enough to withstand this powerful
amount of heat without burning. Because
VG is so thick, your vapor will be thicker and denser as well.

One thing to keep in mind about max VG e-liquids is
that they won’t give you as strong of a throat hit. If you’re a former smoker who craves that
punch to the throat on the inhale, you might be a little disappointed. Also, max VG e-liquids are designed for
direct-lung vaping, meaning that you inhale the vapor straight into your lungs
rather than letting it sit on your palate first. This means that the overall flavor experience
won’t be as intense.

Max PG

Max Propylene Glycol tends to be a favorite among
those who want to most closely replicate the experience of smoking a
cigarette. PG is thinner than VG, so
it’s awesome for lower-wattage devices.
It won’t give you those enormous clouds, but it will provide you with a
stronger throat hit, especially if the nicotine level is high.

Max PG is good for mouth-to-lung vaping. This style of vaping is similar to the way in
which we used to smoke cigarettes.
First, you draw the vapor into your mouth. Then, you let it sit on your palate for a
second. Lastly, you suck it into your
lungs.

Because of the way in which mouth-to-lung vaping
works, you’ll be able to enjoy the taste of your menthol flavor more
fully. By letting the vapor sit on your
tongue before sucking it into your lungs, you’ll get a chance to savor each
flavor note as the layers of that said vape unveil themselves to you.

Bottom Line: Ultimately,
whether you choose a max VG or max PG menthol-infused e-liquid is based on your
unique vaping ideals.
